The Tintra Foundation is passionate about protecting the ancient knowledge of indigenous peoples who, through their spiritual wisdom, have a profound respect for all life on Earth. The first Foundation of its kind, they aim to preserve the past & inspire the future by sustaining indigenous wisdom and communities using A.I.

Their mission is to:

  • To protect and preserve ancient knowledge (history, culture, spirituality, environment, health) and ways of the Indigenous communities around the world before they become extinct. 

  • Ensure the value of indigenous wisdom is understood and shared so indigenous-led conservation becomes a mainstream approach, and in doing so, the world’s remaining biodiversity is safeguarded.

  • Through the creation of an AI driven encyclopedia, they will educate and enlighten people around the world of the value of ancient indigenous knowledge, and in doing so, help protect their way of life.

The Foundation has recently recruited its first Chief Executive, who is setting out their governance and creating the Foundation’s first strategic plan, whilst building resources and growing the staff team. They are looking for an Operations and Strategy Assistant to work closely with their Chief Executive to drive forward their mission. The post holder will be an essential assistant to the CEO in the final stages of setting up the Foundation and the creation of a new long term strategic plan, helping set out what they plan to achieve over the next five years.

They are looking for a highly motivated individual with a background of working in an NGO and/or conservation related environment. The successful individual will have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills with strong writing and research skills and the ability to organise data and produce creative infographics. A can-do and agile approach to work and a passion for working with indigenous communities will be essential.
