Loneliness affects people of all ages and backgrounds and touches the lives of millions. It causes real emotional pain and when it becomes chronic it can impact on physical and mental health and has financial and economic repercussions for society.
Their work:
The Campaign’s work focuses on continuing to move the issue of loneliness forward by facilitating and growing a community of organisations working in this space, creating change in policy and practice so that fewer people experience harm as a result of chronic loneliness. The role:
The Community and Stakeholder Manager role will work alongside a wide range of stakeholders - government and public sector bodies, other voluntary sector organisations, researchers and the private sector - to create action focussed dialogue and commitment to change. A major part of this role is focussed on managing the DCMS Tackling Loneliness Hub - https://tacklinglonelinesshub.org/
We are looking for individuals with excellent organisational or project management skills alongside strong stakeholder engagement experience, to facilitate work across the community through engaging communication, knowledge sharing and events.
