Fundraising Director
Trees for Cities
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Location: Hybrid, 2 days in London office
Hours: Full Time
Closing Date: 11 June 2023 *Role Closed*
Trees for Cities is the only national charity dedicated to improve lives by planting, protecting and promoting urban trees. We do this by working closely with communities, landowners, partners and funders to deliver transformational change in towns and cities across the UK and overseas. We plant trees in schools, streets, estates, parks and open spaces to create nature-rich urban woodland, hedgerows, orchards, avenues and playgrounds.
Our 2022-2025 strategy – The Turn of Trees – sets out plans to increase and diversify our income including through multi-year funding partnerships. Our current strategy coincides with the government’s Nature for Climate Fund and a surge of public support for action against climate change.
This new role has been created to boost the leadership of our fundraising, bringing together the grant and corporate fundraising teams to ensure effective collaboration of our fundraising efforts and generate income to fund operations in line with our strategic and business plans. The Director will form an integral part of delivering our strategy so that we can scale up our operations to plant and establish urban trees, engage and involve communities, and inspire a new generation of urban tree professionals.
