Advance Charity is an award winning charity, created and led by women, for women. We offer specialist services that support women and children impacted by Domestic Abuse and the Criminal Justice System.
With over 20 years’ experience in the women’s sector, we are growing exponentially and punch above our weight in terms of service provision, impact and reputation. We are now one the largest providers of support services to women in England, with a focus on London and the South-East.
With the number of women affected by abuse and trauma rising year on year, our support services are needed now more than ever. We are investing significantly in our people, brand and systems to ensure we have the right resource and skills to support and drive our ambition to reach even more women and children.
This is a pivotal time for the charity as we look to grow our profile and diversify our income, building on the significant growth we have achieved over the last year. We have made the move from local to national charity and have delivered early on our 2018 – 2022 strategy. You will be joining Advance at a time when we look to shape and develop the next 5 years, with ambitious growth plans across not only our established teams in London but also our new services across six regions. This senior leadership position offers a dynamic candidate the opportunity to shape future services and our fundraising direction.
We are looking for an inspiring leader with significant experience of building successful fundraising partnerships across a range of income streams, which could include trusts and foundations, institutional donors or philanthropists. You could draw your experience from across a wide range of charitable causes but must be driven by our cause and hold an alignment with our values and vision.
