Advance Charity is an award winning charity, created and led by women, for women. We offer specialist services that support women and children impacted by Domestic Abuse and the Criminal Justice System. With over 20 years’ experience in the women’s sector, we are growing in terms of service provision and reputation. We are now one the largest providers of support services to women in England, with a focus on London and the South-East.

With the number of women affected by abuse and trauma rising year on year, our support services are needed now more than ever. We are investing significantly in our people, brand and systems to ensure we have the right resource and skills to support and drive our ambition to reach even more women and children.

This is a pivotal time for the charity as we look to grow our profile and diversify our income, building on the significant growth we have achieved over the last year. We have made the move from local to national charity and have delivered early on our 2018 – 2022 strategy. You will be joining Advance at a time when we look to shape and develop the next 5 years - this Senior Management Team position offers a dynamic candidate the opportunity to shape future services and our income generation strategy, focusing on the objectives of growth and diversification so that we can increase our capacity and widen our reach.

We are looking for a strategic thinker and seasoned people leader with experience of driving business development and business improvement processes to support service expansion. You could draw your experience from across a wide range of social justice or charity causes but must hold some knowledge or passion for the women’s services or criminal justice sector and hold an alignment with our values and vision. For those new to the VAWG or Criminal Justice Sector, you will be well supported by a wide range of experienced colleagues whilst you build your knowledge.
